To differentiate ourselves from the rest of the Beach Cleanup-ers in the class, we decided not to go with the idea of a trash/tote bag for our final piece. Instead (after a lot of conceptualizing) we settled on the idea of a plastic claw, which could be used to help pick up trash during the beach clean. Aesthetically and functionally it appeals to our young demographic and is a lot more fun than a bag.
